Brad Chambers Announces Campaign for Pennsylvania’s 41st State House District with High-Profile Endorsements
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 20, 2025
LANCASTER COUNTY, PA (August 20, 2025) - Brad Chambers has announced his campaign for PA HD-41 in 2026. HD-41—comprising Columbia Borough, East and West Hempfield Townships, Mountville Borough, and part of Manor Township— is recognized as Lancaster County’s most competitive State House District. Chambers previously ran in 2024 in a campaign that knocked more than 26,000 doors.
Chambers, a labor administrator and community advocate, intends to run on a campaign that fights for housing that is affordable for all, the funding our schools and children deserve, and lifesaving universal healthcare coverage. Chambers has also obtained a number of significant endorsements from across the 41st District and Lancaster County.
Brad Chamber’s endorsements include:
State Representative Ismail Smith-Wade-El (HD-49) - “Brad is my first endorsement of the 2026 cycle, and that’s no accident. People in Lancaster are tired of politicians who have a lot of bark, but are leashed to their corporate donors. Hempfield, Mountville, Columbia - they ought to have a State Representative who works for them, and no one works harder than Brad Chambers.”
State Representative Nikki Rivera (HD-96) - “It is with great respect and admiration that I endorse Brad Chambers for PA State Representative in House District 41 in 2026. Brad’s unwavering loyalty to his community, his outstanding work ethic, and his commitment to serving absolutely all of his neighbors earn him a spot on the ballot and the opportunity to serve in the PA General Assembly.”
County Commissioner Alice Yoder - “It is my pleasure to endorse Brad Chambers for PA House in District 41. Brad is hardworking and committed to serving his community and I know he will be an excellent representative for his district— which includes me! I have been a witness to the way Brad has thrown himself into serving his community outside of politics and his dedication, integrity, work ethic, and genuine commitment to helping people make him an outstanding representative for all of us in the 41st.”
Hempfield School Board Member Judy Brady - “Brad’s energy and devotion to building trusting, personal relationships with the Hempfield, Manor Township, and Columbia communities is truly remarkable. I have full confidence that when elected, as he is ALREADY doing, Brad will tirelessly fight to bring equitable education funding, health care reform, and affordable housing to benefit his district constituents and all Pennsylvanians. Brad Chambers is the exact person the HD-41 has been waiting for to represent the interests of all residents in this western region of Lancaster County.”
Hempfield School Board Member Megan Eshleman - “As a local school board director, I am excited about having a representative like Brad who doesn't just talk about the importance of public education, but will back it up with actions in Harrisburg.”
East Hempfield Supervisor Bob Johnson - “I endorse Brad Chambers for the position of PA State Representative for the 41st district in the 2026 election. Brad is extremely hard-working, dependable, and energetic. His positions on issues are well thought-out and consistent with what I believe are most beneficial to the residents of our district and the state.”
Columbia Borough School Board President Charles Leader - “I give my support to Brad Chambers. Brad is willing to serve the public. Brad understands people and realizes their everyday concerns, challenges and issues. He has the energy and commitment to be a positive force in Harrisburg. I am convinced Brad will help initiate and bring about the needed changes in both his district and the state. Giving Brad a chance to prove his ability will show he will work for the people and that is what is needed.”
State Senator James Malone (SD-36) - “I'm honored to endorse Brad Chambers for PA's 41st statehouse District. I've seen Brad's dedication to progress and working people first hand. I can think of no one better to join me in representing Columbia and Hempfield in the state legislature.”
“These past few months have demonstrated to me that the same issues that first called me to run for State Representative last year are more urgent than ever. Donald Trump and Pennsylvania Republicans continue to gut our health care. Rent and mortgage costs continue to soar. Our teachers and students go without the resources they need. Only when we realize that no one is coming to save us can we truly meet this political moment. We must step up in any way we can, which is why I've decided I will be running for the 41st PA State House District in 2026.” - Brad Chambers, Candidate for HD-41
The Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee (PA HDCC) has previously identified Chambers' race in HD-41 as "one of the most competitive races in the state." James Malone’s win in SD-36 with nearly all precincts in the 41st, as well as the promising primary vote totals in Hempfield and Columbia suggest the same.
