Public Education
Brad Chambers supports fair funding for our public schools & lower property taxes for homeowners.
In the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Brad will:
Reduce reliance on property taxes by correcting the funding disparity that currently allows Pennsylvania to pay 10% less into K-12 education than other states.
Evaluate the Basic Education Funding formula to make sure public schools in the 41st and all of Lancaster County get their fair share.
Expand the PA Student Teacher Support Program, which provides an income to teachers-in-training who agree to stay and work in Pennsylvania for at least 3 years.
Secure funding for expanded trade and vocational training programs in Lancaster County.
